Eastern Food Alliance is a community-focused Education and Training Registered Not-For-Profit that works with people who need the chance to build their skills and get vital experience in a working warehouse that serves the local community.
Eastern Food Alliance has a mission to feed the community around it with what it needs most. Education, Training, Job preparation, Life skills, Qualifications, Forklift Driving, Community Connection, and practically - with confidence to get a job, keep it, and have a social conscience along the way.
EFA addresses the needs of food insecurity by feeding those who need it most. Food is rescued by SecondBite and delivered to our warehouse on a daily basis. The food is then sorted by a team of volunteers who are trained in food handling as well as warehousing, transport and logistics.
We accept other donations for items such as furniture, clothing, school supplies and anything the community needs. If you would like to donate to any of the agencies in the East that we currently supply, please call 0404 178 126 and we’ll organize a drop-off time or collection from you.
